Effective April 17, the instrumentation services operations (IS) will be moving to the facilities management warehouse, Room 109, building 015 near the jogging track.
IS will maintain current services, but some functions will be limited during the two-week move. Full operations should resume by May 5 and there may only be minimal interruption to current support. IS staff members will make on-site pickups of items for repair, and a convenient drop-off point for small repair items will be provided in Room 1.354T (teaching support services) of the Dental School building.
The IS team of skilled biomedical technicians offers quality service in the areas of:
• maintenance and repair of biomedical and laboratory equipment
• design and fabrication of custom machining and engineering needs
• engineering research, consulting, design and fabrication of innovative solutions
• pipette repair and calibration
• freezer maintenance and repair
