Whether you consider yourself a golf-pro or golf-novice, participating in the Health Science Center Dental School’s Second Annual Golf Tournament is an entertaining event you don’t want to miss.

Friday, April 28, golfers of all kind will tee off at 8 a.m. at the Quarry Golf Club to support the Dental School and its students. Individuals will be there to attend an awards luncheon ceremony, and to compete for prizes in an exciting golf tournament.

Last year, Health Science Center staff, students, community leaders, donors and special guests participated as teams who raised more than $9,000 for Dental School scholarships.

“We hope our Second Annual Student Scholarship Golf Tournament will be even more successful than last year,” said Rayzor Dent, director of development in the Dental School. “The money we make from the event will go directly to scholarships for deserving dental students. And, the memories that our alumni, faculty, students and supporters make from sharing a great day together will be unforgettable.”

The entry fee of $165 includes:
• Green fees and shared car
• Driving range balls
• Refreshments
• Breakfast
• Awards ceremony luncheon
• Prizes

Awards will be given in the following categories:
• First, second and third place teams’ net scores
• Closest to the pin
• Most accurate drive in two flights

All proceeds from the tournament will provide scholarships for our Dental Students.

The Second Annual Student Scholarship Golf Tournament Committee include:
