The Center for Biomedical Neurosciences (CBN) will hold its fourth annual retreat from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 10, in the Children’s Cancer Research Institute lobby and auditorium. The annual retreat celebrates the growth of the center.

“If you’re interested in knowing what’s happening on our campus in neuroscience research at both the basic and clinical level, this is the easiest and best way to learn,” said Alan Frazer, Ph.D., professor and chair of pharmacology.

Poster sessions begin at 9 a.m. and will take place throughout the day, providing the opportunity for CBN members share neuroscientific information with their colleagues.

Dr. Frazer said there will be 50 posters and three of the Health Science Center’s own neuroscientists speaking. They include Kenneth Hargreaves, D.D.S., Ph.D., professor and chair of endodontics; David Jimenez, M.D., professor and chair of neurosurgery; and David Morilak, Ph.D., professor of pharmacology.
