Caring… trustworthy… dedicated. These words describe how Health Science Center employees will remember Bert Stott, an employee of Aramark at the Health Science Center, who died suddenly last week.

Stott, born July 30, 1952, served the Health Science Center for almost five years. He worked at the Subway located in the Medical School building lecture hall foyer, but during his free time was devoted to his church.

With a love for children, Stott was actively involved in the St. Luke's Catholic Church Athletic Association and Catholic Youth Organization, where he was to have been the next president. He coached teams in every sport and of every age group.

Family and friends celebrated Stott’s life last week when he was honored during a Mass of Christian Burial and a reception at St. Luke’s Catholic Church.

He will be missed by all.
