Congratulations to Tuhin Chaudhuri, M.D., professor of radiology at the Health Science Center and chief of nuclear medicine service at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Audie Murphy Division, who was selected as sub-chair for the Society of Nuclear Medicine’s Gastroenterology Section of the 53rd Annual Scientific Meeting. It is being held June 3-7, in San Diego, Calif.
Approximately 7,000 physicians, scientists, technologists and other health care professionals attend the meeting.
With the assistance of four other nationally and internationally known scientists, Dr. Chaudhuri, the group leader, reviewed, graded and then selected individuals from a large number of submitted papers about research in the gastroenterology field. The scientific papers are presented in four different scientific sessions at the meeting. Other organ systems are also presented during multiple scientific sessions at the same meeting.
The Society of Nuclear Medicine’s annual meeting is the world’s largest event focused exclusively on nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
