Take a break from the ordinary work day! Celebrate with other faculty, staff and students at the annual Health Science Center Picnic, Friday, July 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thousands of individuals will gather in the Central Campus auditorium and courtyard to enjoy music, food and fun festivities.
Enjoy Bill Miller Bar-B-Q and delicious Blue Bell Ice Cream while DJ Ernesto Calderon entertains with a variety of music. And, the traditional Cake Walk is an activity you don’t want to miss.
You will also have the chance to win terrific door prizes by entering the Door Prize Drawing after visiting the guest vendors. You don’t need to be present to win; winners will be notified by the Special Events Council (SEC) coordinator the following week.
The SEC still needs volunteers to assist during the picnic. If you are interested in volunteering at the event or want to donate a cake for the Cake Walk, please e-mail the SEC:
