Gifts for Children book fair returns next monthDon’t miss the Health Science Center’s book fair to be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 4-6, in the School of Medicine building near Subway.
The Gifts for Children program sponsors the book fair. In addition to books, a variety of gifts, games and music will be available. Stop by with your co-workers to help benefit the Gifts for Children program.
Gifts for Children provides presents for children during the holiday season who are treated by the University Health System, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa, the PREMIEre Program and several clinics and university programs.
Acute nursing’s Silent Auction to benefit SECCA round of golf… a variety of gift certificates… pizza for a year! These are all things you will find in the acute nursing care department’s Silent Auction, which begins this week and ends Sept. 29. The Silent Auction benefits the State Employee Charitable Campaign.
Open bids will be taken until noon on Friday, Sept. 29, on the open bid sheet located in the acute nursing department. Sealed bids will be accepted from 12:01 to 5 p.m. that day. The sealed bid must be higher than the highest bid on the bid sheet.

HSC celebrates the signing of the U.S. ConstitutionThe Health Science Center celebrated Constitution Day Friday, Sept. 15, to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. Several events took place in honor of the special day.
