Health Science Center President Francisco G. Cigarroa, M.D., and Dean of the School of Medicine and Vice President for Medical Affairs, William L. Henrich, M.D., M.A.C.P., are pleased to invite you and your guests to the groundbreaking ceremony for an ambulatory center of UT Medicine San Antonio.

The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the Children’s Cancer Research Institute parking lot.

The state-of-the-art ambulatory center was approved by The University of Texas Board of Regents in November 2005. The center will serve patients in South Texas and beyond by providing numerous specialists and offering programs that are being developed in conjunction with the University Health System, which includes the Health Science Center’s primary teaching hospital.

“This is one of the Health Science Center’s latest initiatives to advance clinical, research and educational excellence,” Dr. Cigarroa said. “It will say ‘first-class medicine’ in every aspect.”

A reception will follow the ceremony. Please RSVP by contacting Stephanie Castor, special events director, castor@uthscsa.edu.
