National Volunteer Week is April 27-May 3. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, in conjunction with the UT System, urges all faculty, staff, students and residents to take this time next week to volunteer their services and talents to the community.

Many people already volunteer in a variety of ways, and National Volunteer Week is the perfect time to participate in projects and initiatives to help the community.

Find a new way to volunteer
If you want to volunteer but aren’t sure what you can do to help, here is a link to organizations that can use your assistance.

Record your hours through the UT Volunteer Program
Please take this time to assist those in need, and be sure to enter your volunteer hours through the UT Volunteer link on the UT Health Science Center portal or go directly to the UT Volunteer Program site to receive credit for your volunteer hours.
