Harvard University groups sponsor panel discussion on life sciences revolution Feb. 23 at UTHSC

The public is invited to "Transforming Life, Transforming Business: The Life Science Revolution" from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in the Health Science Center auditorium. Dr. Susan Naylor, presidential distinguished scholar from the department of cellular and structural biology and co-director of molecular oncology and genetics at the UTHSC; Dr. Abraham Verghese, director of the Center for Medical Humanities and Ethics at the UTHSC; Juan Enriquez-Cabot, senior research fellow and director of the Harvard Business School Life Sciences Project; and Dr. James Wild, chair of the genetics faculty at Texas A&M University, are the featured panelists. Dr. Fernando Guerra, director of the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, will moderate the event.

The event is free. The Harvard Club of San Antonio and the Harvard Business School Health Industry Alumni Association are sponsors of the event.
