Enjoy the latest spring fashions and help the Cancer Center Council assist the Cancer Therapy & Research Center at the same time.

Spring fashions, prizes, cocktails and “exquisite bites” are all part of the fun in an upcoming event honoring six of San Antonio’s hardest-working community advocates, including Laurie Kaplan, past president and longtime member of the Cancer Center Council.

The event, North Star Gives, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at North Star Mall in front of Saks Fifth Avenue.

North Star Gives, presented by San Antonio Magazine, costs $20 in advance through March 23, and $30 at the door on the day of the event, Thursday, March 24. One hundred percent of the ticket sales purchased through the Cancer Center Council come back to the organization.

The Cancer Center Council is a nonprofit organization formed in 1984 to assist the CTRC through cancer education, community outreach, fundraising, patient assistance and volunteer services. For more information or questions, contact the Cancer Center Council at 210-450-5571.
