A test of the HSC Alert System will take place on Friday, March 1. HSC Alert is the text and e-mail notification system for emergencies and campus closures at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio.

Medical residents can now join faculty, staff and students in enrolling up to two cell phones and one alternate e-mail address to receive HSC Alerts.

“HSC Alerts are automatically sent to all uthscsa.edu e-mail addresses,” said Mary DeLay, M.B.A., vice president for communications and chief of staff.

“We hope everyone will take time now to either add your additional contact information to the HSC Alert system or check to make sure your current information is there. This will help increase your chance of receiving important information from the university in a timely manner.”

To sign up for HSC Alert, please follow these instructions.
