San Antonio (March 16, 2004) – More than 100 faculty physicians of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio have been named by their peers to the 2004 Best Doctors® list.

The honored faculty members represent many different disciplines of medicine including cardiovascular disease, surgery, neurology, pediatrics, oncology, psychiatry, orthopaedics, anesthesiology, obstetrics and gynecology, and radiology.

The Best Doctors® in America Database is based upon a biennial peer-review survey of 35,000 physicians nationwide who are asked to identify doctors in their respective specialties to whom they would refer themselves and their loved ones.
