WHAT:
A free public lecture on the importance of exercise for people who have been through a cancer diagnosis and treatment, and information about a free fitness program for cancer survivors, part of a series of presentations on cancer prevention and treatment sponsored by the Cancer Therapy & Research Center at The University of Texas Health Science Center

CTRC, 7979 Wurzbach, 4th Floor Grossman Building, San Antonio

WHO:
Stacey Young-McCaughan, R.N., Ph.D., a professor in the department of psychiatry in the School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, will discuss the fitness program for cancer survivors she has created at the CTRC. She will be joined by cancer survivors who will talk about their own experiences in gaining strength and health through exercise.
