‘Tooth Fairy’ to visit young students

Dental residents – with help from expert fairy –
to show children how to brush, floss for their overall health

WHAT:
As part of National Children’s Dental Health Month, pediatric dental residents from the UT Health Science Center San Antonio’s Regional Campus in Laredo will go to a Laredo preschool and a Zapata elementary school to promote the benefits of good oral health.

WHEN:
TWO DATES: Feb. 15 and Feb. 22
9-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15:
Los Pepitos Schoolhouse, 1816 E. Frost St., Laredo

9-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22: Zapata South Elementary, 500 Delmar, Zapata

WHO:
Angela Loverich, D.D.S., pediatric dental resident, will dress up as the Tooth Fairy to address “Health Eating Habits for Healthy Teeth.” Sergio Lopez, D.D.S., pediatric dental resident, will show children proper brushing and flossing techniques.
