Regenerative Medicine Research - Lab Flex Core module

Lab Flex Cores, located within the laboratories, are specialized areas where investigators conduct research that requires access to dedicated lab equipment. A wide variety of equipment may include freezers, centrifuges and tissue culture hoods. Each Flex Core can be customized to fit the researchers’ needs and specification. The Lab Flex Core can also be converted into a cold room.

The purple area in the image below highlights the Regenerative Medicine Research Lab Flex Core module in the South Texas Research Facility (STRF).

Specifications:

• Square footage of an individual Lab Flex Core module– 300 square feet
• Number of Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory Flex Core modules – 4

Naming opportunities:

• Naming opportunities are available at many different levels of support, and include the opportunity to name a Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory, a Flex Core module, individual Laboratory Benches and specialized Research Equipment.
• Additional naming opportunities are available for Endowments to provide direct support for the research of our scientists.
