Graduate Program in Microbiology & Immunology

Coursework and research training leading to the Ph.D. are provided by the Microbiology and Immunology (M&I) track, one of ten discipline-based tracks of the integrated multi-disciplinary graduate program (IMGP). In order to most effectively investigate and train students in some of the most diverse and complex areas in biomedicine (see Fields of Study under Welcome page), the M&I track faculty are not only from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, but also from other departments in the Graduate School and from research institutions and universities across San Antonio.

There is no traditional program of study that leads the M.S. degree in Microbiology & Immunology; however, this degree is granted under special circumstances.
