April 2003 The North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG) awarded David Katerndahl, M.D., its prestigious President’s Recognition Award. Dr. Katerndahl is a professor in the department of family and community medicine. He received the honor for launching the highly successful Grant Generating Project. He directed the project from 1995 to 1999 before relinquishing his position. The project assists experienced family medicine researchers in securing their first RO1 grant. Dr. Katerndahl has been a member of the NAPCRG for the past 20 years. His research interests include panic disorder and complexity science.
