August 2003 The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Foundation named Kevin J. Donly, D.D.S., the Pediatric Dentist of the Year. Dr. Donley is a professor and postdoctoral program director in the department of pediatric dentistry. "Since my first association with Dr. Donly, I have continued to be impressed by his abilities. He is a true leader in every aspect of his career," said Brent P. Lin, D.M.D, assistant professor in the department of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Donly is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, past president of the American Society of Dentistry for Children and previous chair of the Public Information Committee for the AAPD. The AAPD selected Dr. Donly for his contributions to dentistry and the specialty of pediatric dentistry through clinical practice, academics, research or policy development during his career.
