Physician assistant, nursing master’s programs place among nation’s best in U.S. News & World Report survey

Two master’s degree programs offered by the Health Science Center are highly ranked in the 2004 edition of the book "America’s Best Graduate Schools" from U.S. News & World Report. The book hit newsstands in April.

The Health Disciplines Survey rated schools on a 1 to 5 scale based on responses from program directors and faculty. The Health Science Center’s physician assistant master’s degree program in the School of Allied Health Sciences tied for 14th place, while the School of Nursing master’s degree program tied for 39th. The rankings included ties among multiple schools with the same scale rankings.
