February 2004 Robert B. Price, vice president and senior adviser to the president, proudly displays a Chairman’s Citation presented by Joseph Krier, president and CEO of The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. The citation, which reads, "Presented in recognition of devoted and valuable service rendered to The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and its membership," was presented to Price during a December ceremony in honor of his retirement from the Health Science Center. In addition, Dr. Cigarroa proudly announced the appointment of Price as vice president emeritus. Price worked at the UTHSC for 31 years. He was with the UT System for a total of 35 years. Krier praised Price for his talent and support. "We appreciate and love him and we will continue to call on him for help," Krier said.
