May 2004 The Health Science Center welcomes the husband and wife surgical team of David Jimenez, M.D., F.A.C.S., Director for the Center for Neurosurgical Sciences, and Constance Barone, M.D., F.A.C.S., Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Jimenez begins his post June 1. Dr. Barone begins her duties July 1. The couple will relocate to San Antonio from The University of Missouri-Columbia, where Dr. Jimenez is professor of neurological surgery. He has also been residency program director and is nationally involved in education and the governance of neurosurgery. Dr. Barone is associate professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery and director of the Center for Craniofacial Disorders and is nationally recognized for her work in craniofacial surgery.
