January 2006 (Standing) Kenneth Kalkwarf, D.D.S., dean of the Dental School, and his wife, Sharon, enjoy the company of Dr. Earl Feldmann, retired chairman of the department of prosthodontics, at the Dental School’s 35th Anniversary Gala. Hundreds enjoyed the Western-themed event, which was held at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch in November. The event highlighted the successful 35-year history of the Dental School. Dr. Feldmann, who was a faculty member at the Dental School from 1971 to 1991, was one of 350 distinguished guests, who included faculty members, former faculty members, retirees, alumni, community leaders, donors and friends of the Health Science Center’s Dental School. "The great leadership of our faculty and the generous community support help make the Dental School a jewel in South Texas and the world," Dr. Kalkwarf said. He thanked everyone for making the event a success.
