Baptist Health Foundation awards $82,500 to HSC students

The Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio announced 28 scholarships totaling $82,500 for students.

"We are proud to be a partner with Dr. Cigarroa and the Health Science Center in the education of young health care professionals and the discovery of new knowledge," said W. Frank Elston, F.A.H.P., president and CEO of the Baptist Health Foundation.

The Baptist Health Foundation has awarded grants since 2005. "We sincerely thank the foundation and its trustees for their visionary investment in educating health care providers for South Texas," President Cigarroa said.
