Native San Antonians Stanley and Sandra Rosenberg are passionate about seeing their city flourish as an education and research capital. As part of their dedication to this cause, they have continued their longtime support of the Health Science Center by pledging $500,000 for groundbreaking prostate cancer studies. "The Health Science Center is a tremendous asset to our community, and our family is proud to be part of its legacy," Mr. Rosenberg, the senior partner in the Loeffler Tuggey Pauerstein Rosenthal LLP law firm, said.

The Rosenbergs’ generous gift established the Sandra and Stanley Rosenberg Family Laboratories to support the exceptional research of Ian Thompson Jr., M.D., one of the world’s leading prostate cancer investigators. The two are also active members of the Development Board and President’s Council.

"Stanley and Sandra have meant a great deal to our Health Science Center," President Francisco G. Cigarroa, M.D., said. "We are extremely proud to have their support on our campus."

Through the expertise of the scientists in the Sandra and Stanley Rosenberg Family Laboratories, prostate cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment will be much more highly refined.

"It was essential for us to get behind something so important," Mr. Rosenberg said. "Everyone should get involved."
