July 2008 Increasing the number of nursing graduates by 88 in 2007 has resulted in the awarding of more than $686,500 in additional state funding for the School of Nursing. The funding - the second-highest awarded among public and private nursing schools in the state - will be used to add eight new nursing faculty members and 80 additional nursing students.
