CTRC researchers garner $2.2 million from state
$919,898 to continue her work after identifying an adrenal cancer gene. Ricardo Aguiar, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor of hematology and medical oncology, garnered $797,800 to delve into diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Rong Li, Ph.D., professor of molecular medicine at the Institute of Biotechnology, was awarded $499,998 for his work on the regulation of local estrogen production in breast cancer.
