A chance to help others

The opportunities to help the Health Science Center are almost endless. Gifts can be either non-restrictive or restrictive, which means you can designate your donation to a specific program or research area.

Giving to the Health Science Center offers tax savings to the philanthropist while supporting invaluable research and community-based projects in San Antonio and the South Texas/Border Region. Charitable giving can help the Health Science Center's world-renowned scientists find better treatments for disease as well as determine the causes of life-threatening ailments.

A gift to the university also could help faculty, staff and students who go out into neighboring communities to provide health care, educational programs and other services not available in underserved areas.

Permanent scholarship funds could be established in the donor's name or in the name of anyone the donor wished to honor.
