In addition to protecting you and your family from experiencing substantial income tax burdens, a gift to the Health Science Center can improve the health and well-being of future generations.
The choice is yours. A gift to the Health Science Center can be non-restrictive or restrictive, which means you decide how your donation will be used. Would you rather the money be used for research on diabetes, heart disease, children's cancer or another type of disease that has touched your family?
Gifts also can be earmarked for community-based projects in San Antonio and throughout the South Texas/Border Region. Health Science Center researchers and professors oversee teams of students who go to underserved areas and provide everything from vision screening to dental hygiene to prenatal care.
If you would prefer to assist students, permanent scholarships can be created in your name or the name of a loved one whom you wish to honor. With your help, a young person could receive the financial assistance needed to become a physician, dentist, nurse, researcher or allied health professional. You could help these students reach their goal of caring for others.
