As a newly formed department, Neurology is seeking to significantly expand its faculty. Outstanding candidates are being sought for the following faculty positions:

 

Epilepsy | Movement Disorders | Neuroimmunology | Neuromuscular Specialist | Stroke

 

 

Epilepsy

We are seeking an outstanding clinical/academic neurologist who is a specialist in Epilepsy.  The successful candidate will provide service, conduct clinically-focused research in Epilepsy, and participate in the teaching of medical students and residents. Minimum requirements are an M.D. degree, neurology residency training, and one year of fellowship training in Epilepsy. Candidates should be board-eligible or certified in Neurology. This position is anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank, but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

 

 

Movement Disorders

We are seeking an outstanding clinician/academic Movement Disorders neurologist.  The successful candidate with provide service, conduct clinically focused research in Parkinson Disease and other movement disorders, and participate in the teaching of medical students and residents. Minimum requirements are an M.D. degree, neurology residency training, and two years of fellowship training in movement disorders. The position is anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank, but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

 

 

Neuroimmunology

We are seeking a clinical/academic neurologist who is a specialist in neuroimmunology. The successful candidate will provide service, conduct clinically-focused research in neuroimmunology, and participate in the teaching of medical students and residents. Minimum requirements are an M.D. degree, neurology residency training, and one year of fellowship training in neuroimmunology. Candidates should be board-eligible or certified in Neurology. This position is anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank, but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

Neuromuscular Specialist

We are seeking an outstanding clinician/academic neurologist with expertise in Neuromuscular Diseases and Electromyography. The successful candidate will provide service in our MDA and EMG clinics, conduct clinically focused research in Neuromuscular Diseases, and participate in the teaching of medical students and residents. Minimum requirements are an M.D. degree, Neurology residency training, and completion of fellowship training in Neuromuscular Diseases or Clinical Neurophysiology. The position is anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank, but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

 

 

Stroke

We are seeking two outstanding clinical/academic neurologists who are specialists in Stroke. Successful candidates will provide service, conduct clinically-focused research in stroke, and participate in the teaching of medical students and residents. Minimum requirements are an M.D. degree, neurology residency training, and one year of fellowship training in stroke. Candidates should be board-eligible or certified in Neurology. These positions are anticipated at the Assistant Professor rank, but candidates with exceptional qualifications may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
