Ashley M. Brumm —
Dr. Ashley Brumm graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a baccalaureate in Biology in 2003, and following work in the research field, attended the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. She attained her M.D. in 2009. Dr. Brumm is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Her outside interests range from church activities to spending time with her family, and sports
Quyen Ngoc Bao Dang —
Dr. Quyen Dang completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas, in 2004, and following work in the research field attended medical school. She received her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2009. Dr. Dang speaks fluent Vietnamese, and her hobbies include art, photography, and sewing.
Erin B. Hemsell —
Dr. Erin Hemsell earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2005 and attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport, receiving her M.D. in 2009. Dr. Hemsell's outside interests include spending time with her family, watching movies, and gardening.
Kathryn S. Holloway —
Dr. Kathryn Holloway earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Wellesley College in Bosta, MA in 2005. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and was awarded her M.D. degree with Distinction in Research in 2009. Dr. Holloway's hobbies include painting, travel, and sports.
Molly D. Shields —
Dr. Molly Shields completed a baccalaureate in Biology at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio in 2009. Dr. Shields is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She enjoys diving and volleyball.
J. Brian Szender —
Dr. J. Brian Szender earned a baccalaureate and Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in Boston, MA in 2003 and 2005 respectively. He attained his M.D. degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Ohama, NE in 2009. Dr. Szender's outside interests range from spending time with his family to watching movies, traveling, and sports including ice hockey and bicycling.
Heather Cadell —
Dr. Heather Caddell graduated from Texas A&M University, College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2005. She attended medical school at the University of Texas at San Antonio and received her M.D. in 2010. Her outside interests range from reading and watching movies to spending time with family and friends.
Courtney Failor —
Dr. Courtney Failor earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina in 2005, and her M.D. in 2010. Dr. Failor enjoys spending time with family and friends, carrying out home improvement projects, and watching sporting events.
Kayla Ireland —
Dr. Kayla Ireland graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2006. She attended medical school at the University of Texas at San Antonio and received her M.D. in 2010. Her outside interests range from reading and watching movies to spending time with family and friends.
Elizabeth Lunsford —
Dr. Elizabeth Lunsford earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2004. She attended Eastern Virgina Medical School and recieved her M.D. in 2010. Her interests are cycling, triathlons, church, ski-ing, and medical missions.
Emma Rodriguez —
Dr. Emma Rodriguez graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2002, and a Master's of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Genetics in 2004. She attended medical school at the Univesity of Texas at San Antonio and received her M.D. in 2010. Her outside interests include reading, traveling, church, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering.
Christine Van Ramshorst —
Dr. Christine Van Ramshorst graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006. She attended Baylor College of Medicine and earned her M.D. in 2010. Dr. Van Ramshorst enjoys running, reading, and cooking.
Javier Chavez —
Dr. Javier Chavez received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Utah in 2007. He attended medical school at the same university and completed his M.D. in 2011. Before beginning his studies, he lived in Guatamala for two years where he learned to speak K'ek'chi. In his spare time he enjoys sports, running, reading history books and spending time with his wife, two sons, and Golden Retriever.

Bernard Lynch —
Dr. Bernard Lynch graduated from the Catholic University of America in 1999 with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. He received a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2002. From 2001 to 2007 he was a Senior Engineer with the Detector Systems Branch of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2011. His interests include triathalons, competitive swimming, cooking, live music, and the Seattle Mariners.
Christine Ross —
Dr. Christine Ross graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2001 with a degree in Biochemistry. She earned her Ph.D at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics. Dr. Ross earned her M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2001. She enjoys playing soccer, running, cycling and spending time with her husband and dog.
Lauren Schaub —
Dr. Lauren Schaub graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. She earned her M.D. from Texas A & M Health Science Center in 2011. Her interests include spending time with family and friends, church, traveling, and watching movies.

Dr. Lindsey Gaidousek received her baccalaureate in Chemistry from the University of Houston in 2008. She attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock and received her M.D. in 2012. Her outside interests include watching movies, reading novels, baking, and traveling.

Dr. Analyssa Christine Orjuela received her baccalaureate in Biology from the University of Texas Pan American in 2010. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and received her M.D. in 2012. Outside interests include dancing, cooking, and spending time with family.
Rorey Walsh —
Dr. Rorey Walsh completed a Bachelor of Science in Political Science at Texas A & M University, College Station, in 2006. Following premedical studies and work in social science research, she attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and received her M.D. in 2012. Dr. Walsh enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Julie Weigandt —
Dr. Julie Weigandt graduated from Boise State University in 1994 with a Bachelor's in Music Education. From 1996 to 2008 she taught high school instrumental music in Iowa. She received her M.D. from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2012. Her intrests include cooking, exercising, golfing, watching movies, and spending time with family.
