Logos on Backgrounds

Adhering to the following color reproduction guidelines will help create a consistent image and maintain the visual impact of the logo.

 

When the logo is reproduced in full color, it is preferred that it be placed on white. However, it may be placed on one of the neutral colors listed under Design Elements, Section 5.1 (as shown in example 1 below).
In order to provide adequate differential between each hexagon color and the background, the full-color logo should never be placed on any color background that is darker than a 20% screen of black (as shown in example 2 below).

 

When the Health Science Center logo is placed over a photograph, it is important to avoid high contrast areas
as they will interfere with readability (as shown in example 3 below).

 

When appearing on a dark or black background, the entire logo should reverse out to white (as shown in examples 4 and 5 below). When appearing on a white or light background, and using full color is not available or appropriate, the entire logo should be black (as shown in example 6 below).
