Letterhead
Letterhead must carry the university logo centered at the top. The logo is 4 inches long (width) by
11/16 inch high. Customized logos may not be used on the letterhead.
The full-color institutional logo should be used on all university letterhead. When full-color is not available, it is acceptable to use black for the entire university logo.
The name of the school, department, center, etc. is centered at the bottom. Typically, the type is set in 10 point Whitney Medium SC. The mail code, address, phone number, etc. is typeset in 10 point Whitney Light.
The university’s Web address, www.uthscsa.edu, must appear on all letterhead. Web addresses of individual units may be included on letterhead in addition to the university’s Web address.
The paper stock for letterhead is white with a smooth finish.
Letterhead may only be ordered from Printing Services to ensure the correct format, color and stock is used.

Printing letterhead at your desktop
To print letterhead on a desktop printer, follow the same setup used for offset printed letterhead. The font Arial may be used as a substitute for Whitney.
