Placing Announcements for Participants
in Clinical Trials or Studies

As you have need to place an announcement for research study volunteers in the newspaper, please remember that there are several forums you might consider. Traditionally, researchers at the Health Science Center have placed their announcements almost exclusively in the San Antonio Express-News. This continues to be an excellent forum.

Some researchers may wish to extend the reach of their placements by advertising in other publications. The weekly newspaper La Prensa has a circulation of more than 170,000 (including many Spanish language readers) in the San Antonio area. The San Antonio Informer, is well regarded by the African-American community in San Antonio. Finally, the San Antonio Business Journal reaches thousands of decision makers on a weekly basis.
