Office of Communications

The Office of Communications is home to the communications (public relations) staff for the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. The Communications news & information staff work to represent the university -- and all its schools, departments, faculties and campuses -- to the news media, including print, TV, radio and Web-based news organizations, from local to international outlets. Other members of the Communications staff produce the university’s magazine, Mission, as well as the electronic semi-monthly newsletter, HSC News, disseminated universitywide and to selected donors and community leaders. Finally, Communications staff steward the health science center’s branding initiative and monitor all website designs, to ensure consistency with approved university branding templates.
