Office of External Affairs

The External Affairs Office is home to the communications (public relations) staff for the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.  The EA news & information staff work to represent the university -- and all its schools, departments, faculties and campuses -- to the news media, including print, TV, radio and Web-based news organizations, from local to international outlets. Other members of the External Affairs staff produce the university’s magazine, Mission, and magazine supplement, Vanguard, as well as the electronic semi-monthly newsletter, HSC News, disseminated universitywide and to selected donors and community leaders.  Finally, EA staff manage the health science center’s branding initiative and monitor all Web site designs, to ensure consistency with approved university branding templates.  For more information, contact the External Affairs office at 210.567.3078.
