Flights of fancy

Dr. Carlton Eddy, left, obstetrics and gynecology, is joined by his son, Ethan Eddy, during the opening reception of "Carrier at Sea: A Celebration in Art," an exhibit featuring Dr. Eddy's sketches and oil paintings. The artwork includes images from the flight deck of a U.S. Navy carrier. Dr. Eddy completed most of the pieces following visits on board the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln with his son, a former aviation boatswain's mate in the Navy. The exhibit will run through the end of April.
