Dr. Bonnie Blankmeyer, psychiatry, has been elected to serve as vice chair for the Bexar County Department of Housing and Human Services Fair Housing Plan Committee. The committee report with recommendations will be presented to the Bexar County Commissioners Court by the end of 2001.

Esther Gomez-Wilkson, Teleconference Network of Texas, was elected president of the Mexican American Business and Professional Women's Club of San Antonio Inc. (MABPW) for the 2001-02 club year. The MABPW promotes the personal and professional growth of women through education, advocacy and community action.
