Binational conversation

(L-R) Interpreter Misiki Tateo, Dr. Kinoshita Sumahito, Dr. Randal Otto and Hideko Matsuka get acquainted in the department of otolaryngology conference room. Dr. Sumahito, an ear, nose and throat specialist, and Matsuka, a nurse, stopped by the Health Science Center during a nine-day visit from Kumamoto City, Japan. Dr. Otto, professor and chairman of the department of otolaryngology - head and neck surgery, was a welcome contact for Dr. Sumahito, who has a particular interest in ear, nose and throat clinical treatments and otolaryngology education. Dr. Sumahito is holding a picture of his medical school in Japan. The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District coordinated the visit.
