Dr. Jay Mabrey, orthopaedics, celebrates the Emmy Award presented to KENS 5-TV's Wendy Rigby for excellence in medical news reporting. Rigby, KENS photojournalist Richard Woods and Dr. Mabrey worked on a "virtual reality surgery" story that aired in February 2000. The story highlighted Dr. Mabrey's work on innovative teaching programs. His ongoing project is with the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
