The Health Science Center family is deeply saddened by the
loss of Carole Lockhart. She was a member of the
Teleconference Network of Texas office for six years and
then transferred to the human resources department, where
she worked for just more than five years. Lockhart died
Friday, Nov. 23. Tony Ramirez, assistant vice president for
human resources, remembers
her fondly.
"Carole was a unique individual with a great sense of
humor," Ramirez said. "Even though she was ill, she never
lost her sense of caring for others. She always made people
laugh and made them feel that while it may be cloudy
today, the sun would shine tomorrow. We know the sun is
shining for Carole and we will miss her."
Lockhart is survived by daughters Debbie Hernandez,
Cindy Ellis, Lynne Rae and Kristy Lockhart, and six
grandchildren.
