Parking services office moves to new location

PHOTO (Left) Irma Sanchez, parking office supervisor, practices taking an ID photo of Mari Herrera, parking permit and found property clerk, at the new parking services office located next to the university bookstore near Garage B. Construction on the new office began in late November and was completed this month. The new office features a more spacious waiting area, three customer service windows and two new ID photo machines. University Police Chief Robert Bratten said all of the normal parking services, including ID badge distribution, found property services, key issuance, and parking permit and ticket payment, will continue to be provided through the new, more efficient and better organized office. University police administrative and operational offices remain in the Police Building near the Dental School cafeteria. Dr. Francisco G. Cigarroa, Health Science Center president, will preside over a formal ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the new office on April 4. To contact the parking services office, call (210) 562-PARK or ext. 7-7293.
