Emergency training course set for Jan. 15

Faculty, staff, residents and students are invited to attend a free emergency evacuation training class scheduled from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in lecture room 2.010 near the Briscoe Library. Participants will learn how to operate the university's new emergency evacuation chairs. The Health Science Center recently purchased five of the chairs to help evacuate mobility-limited individuals in an emergency.
