As this year comes to a close, I am sincerely grateful to all of you our community partners, friends and donors who have helped make so many exciting achievements possible at our Health Science Center.
Whether it’s educating future health care providers, conducting world-class research or providing compassionate care to patients throughout Texas and the world, your support helps us make lives better every day.
This issue of Vanguard recognizes some of our most dedicated donors, including Cathy Obriotti Green and Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., whose steadfast support is making scholarships and exceptional educational opportunities available for our students and community. We also thank the many donors who are advancing vital cancer research and care at our Cancer Therapy & Research Center and at our Greehey Children’s Cancer Research Institute.
Finally, I am grateful to everyone who has contributed so generously to our first Annual Fund for the Future of Health.
As the new year dawns, I am convinced that our time is now to ignite a new sense of collaboration and success that will position our university among the top health science centers in the nation. Your important partnership will help us write the next exciting chapter for our Health Science Center.
Warmest regards,
