Born and raised in Sligo, Ireland. I received my B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I then continued my education and received my B.S. in Healthcare Studies and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I joined the Department of Orthopedics in 2009.
