Dr. Stanley joined the Department of Orthopaedics in the fall of 2009. Dr. Stanley graduated from The University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, with a degree in chemistry. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1974.

 

Dr. Stanley completed his internship in medicine at the Lloyd Nolan Hospital, Fairfield, Alabama, and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. His training continued with a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Stanley also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

 

Dr. Stanley is involved in the medical education, teaching of residents and medical students at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa and at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
