My medical education was forged at George Washington University in Washington DC. For my hospital training, I interned in Surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, where I also served my residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. I was appointed Clinical Professor at UTHSCSA Department of Orthopaedics on September 11, 2002. My current professional activities include serving as Historian of the Clinical Orthopaedic Society, President of the San Antonio Orthopaedic Society, and serving on the editorial board of .Sports Medicine News; Arthroplasty; and the Journal of the Southern Orthopaedic Association. My role in the orthopaedic residency program is to teach Clinical, Adult Lower Extremity Reconstruction/Joint Replacement.
