Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland was the site of my medical education. My orthopaedic internship, residency and shoulder fellowship took place at UTHSCSA, where I am now currently appointed at the level of Associate Professor. I am chief of the Orthopaedic Shoulder Service at the Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital and consultant for the Shoulder and Upper Extremity service at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX.. My professional activities include service on the following committees: Physician Advocacy Committee; Medical Center Hospital; University Physicians Group - Quality Improvement Credentialing Subcommittee; AAOS Committee on Shoulder & Elbow Evaluation; AAOS Editorial Board: Essentials of Musculoskeletal Care, 2nd Ed.; Consultant for the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
