I began my physician’s assistant training at the Academy of Health Sciences, US Army, Ft. Sam Houston TX. In 1989, I received a B.S. degree in Health Care Administration from Saint Joseph’s College, Standish, Maine. In 1994, I earned a Master of Medical Science (PA) degree from Saint Francis University, Lorreto, PA. My hospital training took place at in the Orthopaedic Surgery Department of Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, TX. I served as Director and Associate Professor of the Physician Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 1995 to 1998, and was Assistant Dean of the College of Allied Heath, at Nova Southeastern University from 1996-1998. I was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the UTHSCSA Department of Orthopaedics on January 1, 2004.
