The Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM)© is an individualized outcome measure designed for use by occupational therapists. It can provide information about the areas of perceived need by the client, which provides a starting point for the provision of assistive technology that could meet some or all of those needs. The measure is designed to detect change in a client's self-perception of occupational performance over time, and therefore a change in scores after AT implementation provides meaningful feedback. The COPM is designed for use with clients with a variety of disabilities and across all developmental stages.
