Adjunct Faculty:
Evelyn (Evie) Harness, BS, OTR Adjunct Assistant Professor Evelyn (Evie) Harness received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University. She has held management and consultant positions for Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities for many years and is currently the Director of Clinical Programs for Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital. Evie has served on the Texas Occupational Therapy Association's (TOTA) Council on Standards and Practice, has chaired the Mountain Central Conference Committee, and has been Chair and Secretary for the Alamo South TOTA District. She has served as the President of TOTA and was a member of the AOTA Committee of the State Association Presidents (CSAP). Evie has been a trainer for an Interdisciplinary Cognitive Workshop, and a member of the Texas Head Injury Association . In addition to her active professional association activities, Evie is a Brownie Troop leader and Event Coordinator for the Girl Scouts. |
